Sorcerers are ranged spellcasters who wield a Staff to channel elemental forces, celestial energy, and defensive arcane techniques. Their spells can inflict heavy Magic Damage, control enemy movement, protect the caster, and disrupt entire groups from a distance.

The class supports two primary magical paths. Elemental Magic combines Fire, Ice, and Thunder spells to trigger elemental effects and control enemies. Stardust Magic focuses on high-impact celestial spells, large areas of effect, displacement, and powerful burst combinations.

Overview

Sorcerer is a ranged magical damage class built around spell preparation, positioning, and controlled bursts of power. Many spells require the caster to chant, making proper timing and distance essential.

Sorcerers can dominate open spaces when allowed to prepare their abilities. However, they become vulnerable when enemies interrupt their chanting or force them into close-range combat.

Role

The Sorcerer serves as a ranged damage dealer and battlefield controller. In group combat, the class can damage multiple enemies, slow or stun advancing targets, block projectiles, expose enemy positions, and disrupt formations with powerful area spells.

In solo play, Sorcerers must carefully manage their Energy, preserve defensive abilities, and use terrain to prevent melee classes from closing the distance.

Combat Style

Sorcerer combat revolves around predicting enemy movement and deciding when a spell should be fully chanted or released early.

Fully chanted spells generally provide stronger damage, range, or crowd-control effects. Some spells can be released early to recover Energy and produce a weaker but faster attack.

Elemental builds combine Fire, Ice, and Thunder effects to maintain pressure and trigger Elemental Affinity. Stardust builds use celestial projectiles, gravitational effects, and large area spells to control groups and deliver powerful magical bursts.

Weapons

  • Staff — A magical weapon used to cast Elemental Magic, Stardust Magic, defensive wards, mobility spells, constructs, and battlefield-control abilities.

The Sorcerer's second weapon category is not currently available.

Strengths

  • Excellent ranged Magic Damage.
  • Powerful area-of-effect abilities.
  • Access to slows, knockback, stun, stealth, and vision detection.
  • Strong crowd control against groups.
  • Can block projectiles and create defensive barriers.
  • Multiple options for repositioning and survival.
  • Effective at controlling narrow passages and contested areas.

Weaknesses

  • Many abilities require chanting.
  • Vulnerable to interruption and close-range pressure.
  • Requires careful Energy management.
  • Missed area spells can waste important cooldowns.
  • Lower durability than frontline classes.
  • Requires accurate targeting and prediction.
  • Defensive skills must be preserved for enemy engagements.

Maintain distance and begin chanting before enemies enter melee range. Use Deep Freeze, Thunder Pierce, Stardust Tempest, or Gravitational Vortex to restrict enemy movement before committing to a high-damage spell.

Preserve Cryptic Ward, Windcraft, Mistwalk, or Forbidden Gate for defensive situations. Avoid spending every control ability at once, since Sorcerers are vulnerable when enemies survive the initial spell combination and continue advancing.

Elemental Magic
Fire, Ice, and Thunder spells focused on elemental reactions, ranged damage, slowing, burning, and crowd control.

Elemental Affinity icon

Elemental Affinity Class Mechanic

When Elemental Magic hits an enemy, apply 1 stack of Elemental Mark. When the target reaches 2 stacks, consume all Elemental Marks to trigger an elemental reaction and deal Magic Damage.

Fire Bolt icon

Fire_Bolt_Animation.webp

Fire Bolt Elemental Skill

Hold to chant and launch a Fire Bolt. The projectile explodes after striking a unit or terrain, dealing Magic Damage and applying Burning for a short duration.

Release the skill early to recover Energy and fire a weaker bolt with reduced maximum range.

One of the spells Elemental Sorcerers are most proud of. The inspiration of Fire Bolt, by their own account, is the hybrid of netherflame and the power of the pantheon. The combination of the two is a perfect demonstration of utmost equilibrium.

Flameblade icon

Flameblade_Animation.webp

Flameblade Elemental Skill

Conjure a blade of flame and slash the area in front of you, dealing Magic Damage and applying Burning to enemies hit for a short duration.

A smith, who had swindled half a crate of fine iron from the Main Hall, found himself overwhelmed with an ever-growing number of orders. As he wailed and lamented his fate, a group of Elemental Sorcerers quickly melted the iron with Flameblade, saving the craftsman. It's said these sorcerers were loyal subordinates of the Sunlight Priest.

Crystal Icebolt icon

Crystal_Icebolt_Animation.webp

Crystal Icebolt Elemental Skill

Summon 2 Crystal Icebolts that orbit around you.

When you are attacked, one Icebolt automatically launches toward the attacker. After the skill's duration ends, any remaining Icebolts launch forward.

After the Dragonfall, a sorcerer claimed to have shot a dragon scale from Kalan's tail with a Crystal Icebolt. Whether it was genuine or not, no one cared.

Deep Freeze icon

Deep_Freeze_Animation.webp

Deep Freeze Elemental Skill

Release a cone of freezing air in front of you, dealing Magic Damage and reducing the Movement Speed of enemies hit for a period of time.

Sorcerer Tarick used this method to freeze a restless mare for the blacksmith, hoping to give this poor thing a new set of shoes. Afterward, the blacksmith's guild appealed to the Main Hall, receiving half a crate of fine iron in return.

Thunderstrike icon

Thunderstrike_Animation.webp

Thunderstrike Elemental Skill

Hold to chant and summon lightning at the selected location, dealing Magic Damage to enemies within range.

Release the skill early to recover Energy and summon a weaker lightning strike after a short delay.

Legend has it that Argus appeared at Thunder Ridge and taught local Practitioners how to summon lightning. Traces of lightning strikes can still be found there by travelers.

Thunderstorm Sigil icon

Thunderstorm_Sigil_Animation.webp

Thunderstorm Sigil Elemental Skill

Hold to chant and place a Thunderstorm Sigil at the selected location. After a short delay, the sigil summons a lightning storm that deals Magic Damage and inflicts Dazed on enemies within range.

Practitioners cast this spell for advanced trials. The plaza in front of the auction house was selected as the arena. It's said that during those two days, the open space was filled with the clattering sound of pots and pans colliding after the thunderstorm descended.

Thunder Pierce icon

Thunder_Pierce_Animation.webp

Thunder Pierce Elemental Skill

Hold to chant and launch a long-range thunder spear, dealing Magic Damage to enemies hit.

If the spear does not hit an enemy, it creates an electric field at its destination. The field continuously deals Magic Damage and applies a stacking Movement Speed reduction, up to 5 stacks.

This spell originates from an ancient ritual of Thunder Ridge—when lightning streaks across the sky, it signals the judgment of the gods.

Stardust Magic
Celestial projectiles, gravitational effects, large-area damage, displacement, and magical burst combinations.

Meteor Charm icon

Meteor_Charm_Animation.webp

Meteor Charm Stardust Skill

Hold to chant and launch a flying star. The star explodes when it strikes a unit or terrain, dealing Magic Damage to enemies within range.

Release the skill early to recover Energy and launch a weaker flying star.

Before the Age of Corrosion, Stardust magic was denounced as heresy, but now it is revered in the Exile Lands. But strangely, sorcerers remain tight-lipped about the names of their guides.

Meteor Impact icon

Meteor_Impact_Animation.webp

Meteor Impact Stardust Skill

Hold to chant and summon multiple meteors that travel forward. The meteors deal Magic Damage and knock enemies into the air.

Each meteor shatters after striking a unit or environmental obstacle.

Before the Mistfall, a meteor shower rained continuously for three days. Wandering sorcerers gathered around the campfire, etching the spectacle into memory as the "Decree of Argus." It is said that casting this spell awakens sleeping meteors in the starry vault, calling them down to crush all obstacles. The sorcerers believed this was Argus granting mortals a glimpse of cosmic power.

Rockblast icon

Rockblast_Animation.webp

Rockblast Stardust Skill

Hold to chant and gather rocks around the selected location. After a short delay, the gathered rocks explode and deal Magic Damage to enemies within range.

The threat of the Outer Gods' forces to Brandrgarde grew daily. Despite opposition, the Observer of the Stars authorized the Stardust Sorcerers to fight in Brandrgarde battles when necessary. Radical sorcerers cursed him to one day fall like a meteor.

Star Shock icon

Star_Shock_Animation.webp

Star Shock Stardust Skill

Release a ring of stellar energy around yourself, dealing Magic Damage and knocking back all enemies within range.

Brandrgarde children love playing in the Ring. Some chant the Star Ring while others yelp and pretend to fall. The Sacred Chamber staff reports this to the Main Hall, amusing the general.

Stardust Tempest icon

Stardust_Tempest_Animation.webp

Stardust Tempest Stardust Skill

Hold to chant and summon a Stardust Tempest at the selected location. The tempest continuously deals Magic Damage and reduces the Movement Speed of enemies within range.

After the Outer Gods descended to the Realm of Mortals, their storms swept across thousands of miles, causing countless beings to bow before their might. Inspired by their power, sorcerers created Stardust Tempest, yet they deny receiving any divine inspiration.

Stardust Torrent icon

Stardust_Torrent_Animation.webp

Stardust Torrent Stardust Skill

Hold to chant. After the chant is completed, continue holding the skill to guide a torrent of Stardust toward the target area.

The torrent continuously deals Magic Damage and becomes stronger as the channeling duration increases.

In Brandrgarde tavern, a Stardust Sorcerer disguised as an elemental practitioner was exposed and, using this magic, escaped through a mead-storing wall. The spilled mead was licked clean by stray Foul Hounds while everyone was busy tracking the sorcerer.

Gravitational Vortex icon

Gravitational_Vortex_Animation.webp

Gravitational Vortex Stardust Skill

Hold to chant and summon a Gravitational Vortex at the selected location. After a delay, the vortex pulls all enemies within range toward its center and deals Magic Damage.

If 2 or more enemies reach the center of the vortex, they are also inflicted with Stunned.

Legend says this gravity-like vortex is not mere force, but whispers from between the stars—luring the unwary close, only to consume all. Elder sorcerers would warn apprentices: to wield this spell, one must be willing to risk their life.

Shared Staff Magic
Defensive wards, mobility, stealth, detection, projectile control, and emergency repositioning.

Arcane Armor icon

Arcane_Armor_Animation.webp

Arcane Armor Staff Skill

Hold to chant and gain Arcane Armor, increasing your Physical Resistance and reducing enemy Movement Speed for a period of time.

Argus guides sorcerers to hone their magic. Through tireless study, they increasingly believe in opening the "third eye", which offers more protection than Arcane Armor.

Cryptic Ward icon

Cryptic_Ward_Animation.webp

Cryptic Ward Staff Skill

Use Cryptic Ward to Block incoming damage. Successfully performing a Perfect Block knocks back and Stuns the attacker.

A defensive tactic commonly used by sorcerers who are not skilled in close combat. A successful block represents the reemergence of Argus's majesty and wisdom, providing the spiritual strength sorcerers need.

Eye of Insight icon

Eye_of_Insight_Animation.webp

Eye of Insight Staff Skill

Hold to chant, then scan all enemy players within a large area. Eye of Insight has a limited number of uses per match.

The Eye of Insight is the sorcerer's ultimate choice for both defense and attack. Nothing can remain hidden—from the castle's candle flames to the gorge's gaps and the forest's scattered light.

Forbidden Gate icon

Forbidden_Gate_Animation.webp

Forbidden Gate Staff Skill

Hold to chant and summon a Forbidden Gate at the selected location.

The gate is a Construct that blocks units and consumes enemy projectiles that touch it. Allied projectiles can pass through the gate normally. The construct is more durable in trio mode.

Sorcerers constructed the Forbidden Gate by studying the laws of nature, indicating that no one could pass unnoticed under the gaze of Argus.

Mistwalk icon

Mistwalk_Animation.webp

Mistwalk Staff Skill

Enter Mist Mode. While transformed, you are unaffected by most external effects except the Gyldenmist, but your Movement Speed is greatly reduced.

Most actions are disabled during Mist Mode, although you can still use Dodge.

This technique makes sorcerers as elusive as serpents and often frustrates their foes. Yet even serpents have weaknesses, and the frustration only adds to their will to fight back against these elusive opponents.

Phantom Step icon

Phantom_Step_Animation.webp

Phantom Step Staff Skill

Hold to chant and gain increased Movement Speed while silencing your footsteps.

While Phantom Step is active, falling does not deal damage or cause Stagger.

The body techniques sorcerers pride themselves on. They use this to proclaim that Argus once transformed into a serpent to enlighten future generations. This is the manifestation of the way of nature, which symbolizes the absorption and study of life's energy.

Shadow Veil icon

Shadow_Veil_Animation.webp

Shadow Veil Staff Skill

Hold to chant and enter Stealth for a period of time. Your Energy does not regenerate while Shadow Veil is active.

A saying among the sorcerers: Shadow Veil is like a silently sheathed sword. Once unsheathed, it whispers in the enemy's ear and draws blood instantly.

Windcraft icon

Windcraft_Animation.webp

Windcraft Staff Skill

Cast a burst of wind forward, dealing Magic Damage and knocking back enemies hit.

Clever sorcerers excel at wielding wind magic, which is far nobler than back-stabbing or attacking unarmed enemies... Sorcerers value ethics and are skilled at studying the laws of nature.
